Ninety Four Workspace
Two floors of a 100 Feet Road building turned into a workplace for a ninety-person design-led technology company that wanted a studio, not an office.
The client's old office was a sea of workstations with meeting rooms around the edge. Their new one reverses that. Work settles into neighbourhoods of twelve, each with its own table, storage wall and a small enclosed room for calls. The middle of each floor is left open: a library, a long kitchen table, and a stepped seating area that doubles as the all-hands space.
We took out the false ceiling and most of the partitions, exposed the slab and services, and painted them one shade of warm white. Acoustic treatment is in the furniture and the rugs rather than the ceiling, which keeps the volume and the daylight. Glass partitions are steel-framed and full height so even the enclosed rooms feel like part of the floor.
The fit-out was delivered in fourteen weeks through our client studio, with weekly site walkthroughs recorded and shared with the team's leadership across three time zones. Ninety desks, forty plants, one slide was rejected.
